Welcome to Volunteers of America of Wyoming & Montana

Since 1896, Volunteers of America has been there for those who need us most. Established locally in 1985, Volunteers of America Wyoming & Montana provides a range of supportive and empowering services to our area’s most vulnerable populations — and works with them to rebuild whole lives and reach their full potential. We focus on bringing higher levels of care and safety to our community through safe, nurturing environments where men, women and youth can learn new skills for responsible independent living and where healthy families can be developed and become self-sustaining.

Mission

We provide a Christian response to human need that serves and empowers individuals, families and communities.

Substance Abuse Treatment Services

Volunteers of America was invited to join President Bush’s signing of H.R. 1593, The Second Chance Act of 2007. We are making a difference in the lives of ex-offenders. Thanks to Cherae Bishop and all of the CEOs, program professionals and public policy staff members across the country who worked on this monumental legislation.
